I began The Polka Dot Press in 2003,out of my home, as a creative outlet while our only son was in kindergarten. Those early years included home shows and junior league shows, showing my latest paper creations such as personalized teacher notepads and gift tags.
Today, I am blessed to have a thriving retail store as well as a website and Etsy site so we can reach people nationwide. Although stationery is where I began, today we also offer many personalized gifts such as jewelry, drink ware, entertaining items, throws, candles & so much more! We may be small in size, but we have big ideas! We are helping our customers “personalize life's moments” with everything from the perfect invitation to the personalized gift.
I tend to have my hands in every aspect of the business, which my team lovingly tolerates. I am passionate about paper, parties and presentation, but customers are my number one priority and I love to create an experience within the four walls of the store. I am constantly dreaming up new products, shopping for unique items, creating displays and events to showcase the very best that The Polka Dot Press has to offer.
I have been married to my husband Mike for over twenty years and we have one son, Addison, 19 and two morkies, Bentley & Baxter. I work way more than I should, but it's simply because I love what I do. I'd love to get to know you better- reach out or stop by anytime!
