Housed within the first Carnegie Library built on a black land-grant college campus, the Meek-Eaton Black Archives has one of the most extensive collections of African American artifacts in the Southeast. One of 10 black archives in the country, it contains more than 500,000 archival records and 5,000 artifacts in its collection.
